Europe’s largest uninterruptible power supply manufacturer Riello UPS will be amongst leading businesses exhibiting at the inaugural DataCentres North event.

Held in Manchester for the first time, the two day event on May 11th and 12th is aimed at decision makers responsible for data centre infrastructure, and will address every aspect of the planning, design and operation of a data centre, server room, storage facility or IT solution.

With Manchester and the North a hotbed for business expansion and relocation, the exhibition will showcase the latest industry ideas, best practice, legislation and solutions.

Riello UPS, which provides UPS and standby power systems from 400VA to 6MVA, will be on stand A8 showcasing its latest modular product, the Multi Power alongwith its latest Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) system, Multi Sense.

Multi Power is a modular, three-phase double conversion UPS system, scalable for any business requirements. With exceptional power density of 400kW/m2, the Multi Power a leader in its field using up to 28 power modules of 42kW each which gives complete scalability from 42kW to 1176kW.

Organised in conjunction with the British Computer Society DataCentre Specialist Group, DataCentres North aims to address both strategic and operational issues affecting a mission critical infrastructure.

Speakers include internationally renowned specialists and technology implementers such as Emma Fryer of techUK, Bob Crooks of DeFRA and Sarah Kemp of MIDAS.

Leo Craig, general manager at Riello will be amongst the expert line up of speakers and will address delegates on the energy challenges faced by data centres and how to act now ahead of pending legislation.
